UNDERGROUND VENTILATION

TERRAVENT® FRAS PVC Flexible Ducting is designed for positive (force) and negative pressure (exhaust) applications.

Our customised fan attachment concepts and patented jointing and hanging attachments are static conductive and allow for robust installation. These include our patented TERRAPOD® hanging duct attachment and INSERT ‘N CLIP® jointing options.

TERRAMIN’s patented TERRAJET® airmovers use compressed air to generate compliant air volumes to ventilate confined spaces underground.

Select airmover models also allow for the addition of water through a needle valve for atomisation and fine droplet formation (using the Coanda effect). This atomisation process offers cooling, particulate capture and flammable gas dilution benefits.

Our TERRAVENT® Lite FRAS PP is a woven polypropylene coated on one side with flame retardant and anti-static properties.

This material is used mainly on strike-control hanging curtains in underground mines to guide and control airflow, using eyelets and other optional installation accessories.

Note: VENTMESH® LITE woven and coated polypropylene with an additional 50gsm (grams per square metre) spunbond laminated layer is also available.

Our patented, wire-reinforced and laminated polypropylene ventilation control bratticing creates self-supporting structures or seals underground.

TERRAMIN’s vent frames seal off bords in stopes and unused underground working areas.

These seals are installed using cementitious or acrylic plaster or shotcrete (TERRACRETE®).

The VENTICORSET® “Scoop” Brattice guides and enhances airflow in underground mines.

Our patented laminated woven and non-woven polypropylene material uses industry-specified tensile strength spring steel rods to fit the stoping width. These rods allow it to act as a “self-set” reinforced ventilation curtain, which can be moved and reused repeatedly.

Our TERRAVENT® Clear PVC Roadway Brattice is an extruded clear PVC curtain that seals roadways and other areas underground.

The translucent PVC material increases visibility and safety in underground working areas and prevents ventilation leakage.

• More cost-effective than fixed door systems
• Helps to achieve compliance with face velocity regulations

The TERRAVENT® AQUABRATTICE® is a water-weighted brattice made of translucent PVC material with a variable internal water-weighted “column”.

Like our TERRAVENT® Clear PVC Roadway Brattice, the AQUABRATTICE® increases visibility and safety in underground working areas and prevents ventilation leakage.
