DUST SUPPRESSION
MOUSETRAP® MK II
The MOUSETRAP® is a blast-activated water atomisation device with a timed shutoff, meaning it can operate remotely. During an underground blast, the impact force activates a pre-set flap that opens valves on either side of the unit.
This opening activates a supply of compressed air and water through a TERRABLAST® atomising nozzle, which creates a sub-micron aerosol “cloud” that coalesces with and captures dust and other particulate matter.
Note: The MOUSETRAP® MK II meets legislative requirements for mandatory dust-allaying devices in underground working areas.

TERRABLAST® Single Nozzle Stope Water Atomiser
The TERRABLAST® Single Nozzle Stope Water Atomiser is a compressed air, high-pressure water atomisation device mounted in a Flame Retardant and Anti Static (FRAS) housing.
Advantages:

- Easy to install
- Proven to reduce the silica quartz-containing dust in underground gold mines by up to 80% (tests available)
- No filtration or supplementary pressure pumps are required (i.e. less maintenance)
TERRABLAST® 9 x 8 Cluster Nozzle
The TERRABLAST® 9 x 8 Cluster Nozzle is a handheld, compressed air-driven, water atomisation device mounted in a Flame Retardant and Anti Static (FRAS) housing. The device suppresses dust in bulk and humidifies shotcreted areas to enhance hydration and ensure rapid setting.

FAGAMANZI® Watering Down Device
FAGAMANZI® means “put water” in Fanakalo. This hose-end fitting adjusts with a “click” of the hand to create different spray patterns when “watering down”.
Users can quickly shut off the water flow at the hose’s end, so there is no searching for a valve further back or in a remote location.

TERRATAK® Footwall Dust Allaying Adjuvant
TERRATAK® is a wettable powder mixed with water. It is applied mainly to underground mining foot and sidewalls. Once the water evaporates, the sticky residue helps capture dust in intake airways.

Kimre™ Clean Air Technology uses in Mining Applications
